  • All dogs actively participating in pack outings and/or day train activities and services, must be up to date on annual: Bordetella vaccines, DHPP vaccines, and have a current negative general fecal test. We also STRONGLY recommend that your dog be vaccinated with the Lepto and Canine Influenza vaccines and be on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives! [Kaulike K9 will assist with vaccination reminders to the best of our ability; however, dog owners are responsible for providing documentation of vaccinations and fecal exams. Failure to provide vaccination records prior to service could result in the cancellation of reservations.] Dogs and clients not participating in pack outings or day train services (i.e clients only enrolled in private training sessions or online coaching services), are not required to keep up with yearly vaccinations, although it is highly recommended.

  • Dogs participating in pack activities and day train services are not required to be spayed or neutered, but they will be handled a case-by-case basis. *Kaulike K9, LLC will refuse pack-walking and/or day train services to any unaltered female in heat!

  • Kaulike K9, LLC reserves the right to refuse any current or future service(s) to any dog or client, as deemed necessary by owners/management. In the event that a service is refused, no refunds will be given.

  • All dogs are expected to be in good health and free from any zoological, contagious, and/or communicable conditions and diseases (i.e. kennel cough, giardia, etc). Kaulike K9, LLC reserves the right to refuse service if a communicable condition is suspected.

  • All dogs are expected to be free from parasites and on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. Any dog found to have fleas and/or ticks on them, will have their owners contacted immediately and we will drop them back off at their home, with services suspended until treatment of parasites.

  • Dogs in our care will be exposed to the elements and nature during certain points in their time with us. It is not uncommon for dogs to develop sore and/or red feet during these occasions; however these sore/red feet can be mitigated with a few days rest and paw balm. Kaulike K9, LLC does keep paw balm on hand and will apply to any dog where it is deemed necessary. Kaulike K9, LLC will do their best to make sure all dogs are kept in good health/condition, however, any veterinary visits that occur will be at a dog owner’s own expense.

  • We feed/give the dogs a mix of Open Farm brands’ kibble and single ingredient treats throughout the day for training and engagement. If you do not want your dog fed these kibble/treats or if their a cause for concern of any GI upset, please let us know! We’re happy to give the dogs some of their own food and/or treats instead.

  • Please notify us if there are any changes in your plans during the time your dog is in our care. According to Hawaii State Law, a pet is considered abandoned if we are unable to contact you 14 days after your pet’s scheduled release date.

  • All necessary forms must be signed by a dog’s owner before the first day of service.

  • Payment(s) are required at time of services rendered.
